Hope Consulting seeks Staff Civil Engineer. Duties: Uses AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce site design, grading and drainage Plan for sub-division, commercial, and recreational developments according to the City guidelines. Communicates and coordinates with other units to prepare final construction plans. Attends project kickoff meetings, and site walk through. Actively Performs Drainage Design and Drainage Study by using Storm and Sanitary Analysis (SSA). Performs utility design such as water, sewer, and drainage for residential (subdivision) and commercial projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Prepares cost estimation and biding documents. Prepares Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for small and large-scale developments. Prepares elevation certificates for different types of structure. Civil Draftsman will work in support of survey and engineering staff in preparation of project deliverables. Using AutoCAD Civil 3D, a Civil Draftsman turns ideas into detailed plans. They are tasked with processing, producing plans, and exhibits, and coordinating regarding timelines and completion dates.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Experience in the field of Land Development or related field
• Highly Skilled using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat
• Self-motivated and proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have the ability to recognize and re-prioritize direction and priorities from many different people.
• Knowledge of Trig and Algebra
• Valid Driver’s License
Primary responsibilities: This position is in the office. Planning and completion of multiple survey projects and production of survey documents ensuring the project meets standards, client scope, and deadline. Oversee preparation plans, surveys, as-built surveys, mortgage surveys, etc. Works collaboratively with clients on specifications and modifications throughout each project.
Complete red-lines and plan revisions
Research and review deeds, ordinances, technical reports, municipal, state and federal codes to ensure compliance
Other duties as assigned
Must be a Registered Professional Land Surveyor or LSIT in the State of Arkansas
Salary of $60,000-$90,000 per year
